Visit CharityNavigator or ChildrensCharities. Charity Navigator monitors over 5,500 charities, including national and international charities, while Children’s Charities of America focuses on just national children’s organizations.
Choose ‘Advanced Search’ for Charity Navigator or ‘Charity Search’ in Children’s Charities of America. Select ‘Browse by Categories’ then click ‘Human Services’ followed by ‘Child and Family Services’ on the Charity Navigator website. Select a state to narrow the search for either website.
Click on the charity of choice. Contact information and mission statements are listed for each charity.
