If you want to walk down the aisle as a sweet southern belle, Savannah, Georgia is about as sweet southern as you can get. This is one of my favorite cities, and is so because it is just so full of “old charm”, slow talk, and sweet tea!
The perfect place to plan your perfect Savannah wedding is with Savannah Wedding Design. They have got some of the most amazing wedding packages. I am currently helping my daughter (last one!) plan her wedding, and this place is on our list.
Other than bad weather on an outside wedding day, there are no drawbacks here that I can see.

If your dreams are of a wedding on the beach, there is nowhere more perfect than the west coast of Florida. With powder soft sand, it is the perfect place for a barefoot wedding. The website Whimsical Weddings By The Sea, is the location for many by the sea wedding choices. They offer ceremonies on beaches like
Clearwater Beach, Sarasota, Long Boat Key, Cocoa beach, Anna Marie Island, and many others. They do remind you that “sunset” weddings are the most popular, and do book the fastest, so if you wish to be married at sunset, better book!
They have several packages , starting with the Sunset for Two-Bride and Groom only, for $599.00, and of course, there are add-ons.
Or, at the top of the line, they offer the Royal Seaside Wedding for $5020, which will get you the perfect wedding with cake and seating for 50 people.

Is the perfect place to go if you dream of a mountain wedding. Gatlinburg Chapel Ministries offers many wedding chapel choices. They also offer a very wide range of prices, beginning as low as $599, with many budget upgrades available.
Gatlinburg is also perfect place for a honeymoon. Hideaway in a honeymoon cabin, or stay in a suite on the main strip. Winter in the mountains is the most beautiful time to spend in a mountain retreat, but if it is lights and excitement you are after, then summer time it should be for your wedding!
Drawbacks here? I could not think of one! There are so many choices for wedding packages, lodging and local activities you will have the perfect day!

St. Augustine, the oldest city in the US, is the perfect place for a wedding prices start at $359 for just the Bride & Groom…no guests. It is a small, but beautiful location that is perfect for smaller intimate groups. The largest group that they can accommodate is 30 people and the basic price for this ceremony is $2500.
This is my choice, because this is where we were married! Long rumored to be haunted, a comfortable Spanish style location for the perfect wedding.
The ceremony takes place in the lovely, romantic courtyard. Champagne, Wedding cake, a romantic horse and carriage ride around the beautiful, historic city of St. Augustine, are all part of the package. There are several add-on options if you wish. This link is for you to review those options.
The drawback here is only the size. A wonderful location, in an enjoyable city, but it is not for a larger wedding crowd.

Prices for Saturday or Sunday daytime start at $12,995 for a minimum of 75 people and continue upward to $24,595 for 180 guests, with three additional price tiers separating the two figures, for a 4.5-hour event. For this price you get it all, even a wedding coordinator! The only drawback I see here is the weather. Because this is out on the open water, and weather is, well, the weather, there is always a chance you could have rain on your special day. If you are interested in this venue, I would suggest speaking with the company and discussing weather patterns and follow their suggestions.

Shrewsbury takes my vote for this area easily. It is an absolutely beautiful Georgian Mansion surrounded by many beautiful gardens. I would suggest a summer wedding, as this would increase your options in regards to where they ceremony will be held. There are many choices here, both indoors and out, and it would be great to take advantage of both the indoors and the outdoors. If you are thinking of a winter wedding, I think that this would be quite a lovely place covered in snow. This is a great place for an “Old world” or Victorian style wedding.
They have several rooms, seating from 30 people in an intimate setting to 300 people with a grand dance floor.
Prices vary, depending on how you choose to customize your wedding package. You can choose from many combinations of ceremonies, cocktails, suites, and many other personal accoutrements that will enhance your wedding party. Basic starting prices are at $80-110 for the Deluxe wedding package in the winter months to $120-155 May-October. You can plan your Fantasy wedding for $225-250 per person
