Earth Day Games for Children

Earth Day Crafts, Games for Children

Everyone loves to play games and here are a few fun games for children to enjoy and learn about Earth Day. After all playing games is a fun method of learning. These games can easily become a tradition amongst your students or youngsters. Giving children more than one game always helps as some excel in some games while others excel in others. This way you have your basis covered so that no one feels left out and can participate. There are many games online that are also useful for those who don’t want to participate in actual psychical activities. I’ve given a few sites that offer these games as well.

One game that’s been the life of many parties is pin the tail on the donkey. Here instead of using a donkey, we want to use a picture of the Earth along with things that would help us have a better and greener earth. It’s fun and simple to add ways to accomplish this.

Another easy game is to play spin the bottle. The idea here is for whomever winds up being spun upon comes up with a way in which they see a way to save the Earth and/or it’s inhabitants.

The top game to offer is to build a pinata to look like the Earth which would be filled full of treats and ways to save our beloved planet. Each participant would be allowed a turn until the pinata has been opened. This is the most popular game that will be a huge hit with your youngsters.

Still yet another game would be to have each student or child participate in writing a poem about Earth Day. Each one coming up with a verse or idea.
