Dr. Scholl’s Massaging Gell Insoles Changed My Life

Dr. Scholls, Insoles, Sore Feet

You’ve all seen the commercials for the gellin’ insoles. At the end of each commercial it asks, “Are you gellin’?”. I’m here to say proudly that I am gellin’. I’m so gellin’ I’m like Magellan. I saw the commercials much like all of America and found it moderately funny and found the word gellin’ entering my spoken vocabulary. At the time I was skateboarding and the constant shock and pressure in my feet caused me to experience sore feet making it painful to walk or skateboard.

Then a friend of my named Jeeves was telling me about his new gel insoles. Also being a skateboarder and extreme walker, I took his advice to try out his insoles. So I slipped on his shoes and had a walk around. Surprisingly my feet felt no discomfort anywhere in my feet. In addition to this there was a significant difference in how my legs felt. Putting my shoes back on was upsetting. I skated back home feeling every shock through my legs.

The next morning I woke to the same old pain and realized what I needed to do. I called my local Kroger grocery and drug store to check the prices to find how much I had to scrape up to get comfort and piece of mind, I was rather astonished at the near thirty dollar Price tag for a piece of therapeutic rubber.

So I began saving my money for a week until I could finally go to Kroger and buy my soon beloved insoles. When I arrived I went back to the medicine department and found the foot care section. I found several orthopedic items in the isle. Walking insoles, heel cushions, lifts, and exactly what I was looking for…the gellin’ experience. There were several shoe sizes for the insoles ranging from sizes 8 to 13. I grabbed the size 11-13 pair and checked out.

I got home and cut the insoles at the lines indicated for a size 12 shoe and placed them in my shoes. I got the same result as when I tried on Jeeves’s shoes. I walked around like I was walking on clouds. When I skateboarded the shocks were incredibly less intense. When I went to school the next day I felt much happier about walking from class to class and happier about life in general.

This was 4 years ago and I still wear massaging gel insoles. They wear out after about 4-7 months but are definitely worth the $30 price. Now I work in a factory and couldn’t imagine having to stand all day and lift 70 lb. boxes without my insoles.

Anyone who stands for long periods of time or have foot pains, I highly recommend these insoles. As Jeeves passed the knowledge to me, I am passing it to you. Call your local pharmacy and get your pair today. Post the experience you’ve had with the insoles.
