Superstar singing sensation, Miss Diana Ross, and her family appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show today. Miss Ross was as beautiful and glamorous as ever. Diana Ross entered Oprah’s stage wearing an elegant red gown and singing one of her many famous songs. “I’m coming out. I want the world to know. I’ve got to let it show…” Oprah fought to hold back tears of joy as Miss Ross lit up the stage with her famous smile and award winning performance.

“You look amazing,” cried Oprah, who has always been one of Diana Ross’s biggest fans. “This woman means so much to me. She is more than an ageless beauty; Diana Ross is a force that has helped to shape our culture,” said Oprah. Miss Ross then went on to serenade Oprah. “I want to sing a song to you,” said Miss Ross. “Thank you, Miss Oprah,” she said. “Its in my love. Its in my spirit…” sung Miss Ross, “Oprah, we are going to miss you. Its hard for me to say good-bye…”

After the performance Oprah and Diana Ross sat down for a conversation. “What was your greatest career moment?” asked Oprah. Miss Ross responded, “I think it was when I got to meet Nelson Mandela, and he said I love you; I said I love you, too.” Another great moment for Diana Ross was when she performed in the rain in Central Park.

Miss Ross was nominated for a Grammy Award 12 times, but never won. She says that does not really matter. She enjoys her career, performing for her fans, and says that she appreciates having the longevity that she’s had in her career. Her duet with Lionel Richie, “Endless Love,” is the biggest duet of all times.

Later in the show, Diana Ross introduced her 5 children and grandson. “Being a parent is very important to me. Family first. I later switch it to health first, then family first because as you get older you have to take care of yourself first, your health.” Diana Ross was beside her oldest daughter Ronda’s side throughout her pregnancy. She used to sleep on an air mattress in my apartment and go to the doctor’s appointments with me,” Ronda told Oprah.

Oprah questioned Miss Ross’s children about growing up with such a famous mother. “Everything was really normal for us at home. Ronda, Chudney, and I all shared a bedroom,” said her daughter Tracee. Her sons, Evan and Ross agreed that things at home were normal, and they never felt like they lived in the shadow of their mom. “Mom used to say y’all better get good jobs because I’m making this money for me,” laughed Tracee.

Towards the end of the show, Oprah surprised Diana Ross with a visit from Billy Dee Williams who starred with Miss Ross in “Mahogany” and “Lady Sings the Blues” back in the 1970s. It was an emotional and touching reunion.

As always, Oprah Winfrey hosted an entertaining and enjoyable show. She will definitely be missed when her talk show comes to an end.
