Clear Care No Rub Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution No Rub: Review

Clear Care

Recently I have been wearing contacts here and there. I enjoy being able to change the color of my eye. Eye color changes are fun and easy with contacts, people must know that contacts require a lot of care in order to keep your eyes safe from problems that could arise if those lenses are not taken care of properly.

I bought Clear Care No Rub Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution No Rub, and loved the results. After coming across a few reviews online though with people complaining that the solution hurt or burned their eyes, I knew I needed to clear this misconception up before others believed these reviews. First and foremost, if your eyes burn from this solution it means you did not follow the 6 hour soaking directions… or you had an allergic reaction and should seek a doctor immediately.

The fact of the matter is that Clear Care No Rub Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution No Rub works wonders; if you actually follow directions. Too many people moaning about how horrible Clear Care No Rub Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution No Rub is, had been mistakingly using it as a regular ol’ lenses solution. This is no regular lenses solution, and you should not drop the solution directly into your eyes! Man! No wonder they are red!

Clear Care No Rub Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution No Rub is a solution that needs time to neutralize before you can just pop your lens into your eye. Consider is a day at the spa for your lenses. They need time to heal, and they need time to cleanse. If they are removed from the chamber early, and the solution hasn’t had a full 6 hours to neutralize, there will of course be burning.

Now, exactly what is Clear Care No Rub Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution No Rub?

It is a lens solution, however this lens solution only works with the included contact lens chamber. This chamber is like a double sided lens basket. You open up the small doors in the chamber, and add your lenses.

Next you fill the small plastic vile with the solution up to the water line. Next you simply place the odd chamber contraption into the vile filled with the Clear Care No Rub Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution. Immediately you will watch this solution in action.

It will begin to bubble, it reminded me a lot of Alka Seltzer. It looked creepy, and I got worried; I wondered if it would strip my lenses of color or ruin them entirely. But no worries, it did however remove all impurities and protein, making for a safer, cleaner, easier to wear contact lens, after it was done neutralizing for 6 hours.

You see, after 6 hours, the solution will neutralize, and turn into a saline solution very close to your own eyes tears. So they feel very comfortable, and hydrated after their Clear Care No Rub Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution No Rub bath, as I like to call it.

The directions clearly state that this solution cannot be added directly to eyes, nor can you pour this solution in to regular old compact lenses cases and expect it not to burn.

This stuff is made to work ONLY with the included chamber and vial! It is a deep cleaning for your contacts. Not drops for our eyes.

After removing the contacts from the solution chamber, you can also rinse them with regular saline solution to rinse them off as well, in case you fear burning.
