Houston, Texas offers a vast array of sports for children, including gymnastics. Gymnastics can give your child flexibility, coordination, self esteem and a positive self image. My daughter’s confidence improved dramatically when she started taking gymnastics. Step aside cheerleading and make room for tumbling! (Actually, most gymnastics centers offer cheerleading classes as well.) The Little Gym. They have Houston, Texas locations in Memorial, Sugar Land, Kingwood, The Woodlands and Spring, Texas. The Little Gym offers Developmental, Preschool and Advanced gymnastics. Children are placed in classes according to skill as well as age (my daughter, while only four, is in class with six year olds.) Tuition runs from $50 – $90 per month, depending on the class. Basel‘s Allstar Gymnastics and Cheer. 4963 Louetta, Houston, Texas. They offer Mommy and Me, Tumbling, Dancing, and other gymnastics fun. Basel’s also offers cheerleading (Basel’s trains some of the top cheerleaders in Houston and is home of the Texas Elite Cheer Squad), martial arts and, of course, birthday parties. Gymnast Factory. 2520 Albans Street, Houston, Texas. They offer Mommy and Me, Tumbling and Cheerleading. Gymnast Factory in Houston, Texas is a recognized Olympic training facility, and placement on their competitive teams is by invitation only. The Gymnast Factory also has Parents Night Out, Open Gym and birthday parties for children. Tuition for 21 weeks of a 55 minute class once a week is $424. Click here for more information.
