When throwing a birthday party for your child, who wants to have to set the whole thing up, then clean up the entire mess after a couple of hours? Not me. Here are some great children’s birthday party venues for those of us in Evansville, Indiana.
First, of course, is Chuck E. Cheese on Green River Road. The best part of Chuck E. Cheese as a birthday party venue is that you can either have a relatively low-cost “unofficial” birthday party with just friends and family having a good time, or you can have an official children’s birthday party with all the bells and whistles. According to Chuck E. Cheese’s website, in Evansville Indiana you can choose the Birthday Party Star Package, which is $10.99 per child and includes a 90-minute table reservation, twenty tokens, two slices of pizza, and soft drinks for the young guests. For the birthday star, there are 100 tokens, special stickers, a balloon bouquet, a birthday show with Chuck E. himself, and a special medallion. The Super Star Upgrade is $15.00 per child, and includes 12 additional tokens, a 3D souvenir cup, and a goody bag for each child and a Chuck E Cheese plush toy for the birthday kid. Then there’s the cake, wings, ice cream cups, and extra goody bags. According to the Reservation page on the site, the basic Birthday Party Star Package for ten kids (15 additional seats for grownups) would be around $110. As a mom, I can tell you that as a children’s birthday party venue in Evansville Indiana, Chuck E. Cheese is definitely a lot of fun.
A Second choice is Pump It Up! on Frito Lay Drive, off of North Burkhardt in Evansville, Indiana. Their website calls them “The Inflatable Party Zone,” which definitely makes for a very fun children’s birthday party venue. Packages include the Classic Party Weekend for $225.00, the Classic Party Weekday for $180. The Classic Party includes the use of one of their two party rooms filled with giant inflatable play structures and their private party room for having cake and opening presents. The mini-Classic party for up to 12 guests costs $195 on the weekend and $150 during the week and includes everything the Classic Party does. Utensils, plates, and napkins are provided, but you need to bring your cake, and pizza, drinks and goody bags all cost extra. All children must have a signed waiver from their parent in order to attend. I have attended a children’s birthday party at Pump It Up in Evansville, Indiana and it was an exhaustive and fun couple of hours!
A third children’s birthday party venue some parents may not think of is the Children’s Museum of Evansville. Located downtown, the Children’s Museum is filled with exciting interactive exhibits and activities. Their website gives two options for birthday parties. The Birthday Bash Package–$125 for museum members and $150 for non-members-includes use of their party room for an hour, admission for 15 children and all supervising adults, invitations, and a t-shirt for the birthday child. The Birthday Blowout package–$225 for members and $250 for non-members-gets you an extra 30 minutes in the party room, a party host, a ¼ quarter sheet cake, tableware, juice boxes, three pizzas, and favor bags for the children in addition to the Birthday Bash. My family has been to CMoE a couple of times, and each time there is something that they didn’t discover before, and they have a blast. It would be a great children’s birthday party venue for anyone in Evansville, Indiana.
