George Takei

Gene Roddenberry
Both military man and Los Angeles police officer, Gene Roddenberry was a writer and producer who wore many hats in his life. When he first went around Hollywood pitching his ‘wagon train to the stars’ concept called ‘Star Trek’, the networks weren’t impressed.
