Star of Braveheart and the Lethal Weapon series of movies, Mel Gibson owns Mago Island in Fiji. Gibson purchased the 8.4-square-mile island in 2005 for $15 million. It was previously owned by a Japanese company, the Tokyu Corporation.

This pirate of the Caribbean can literally call the Caribbean home. Reportedly Depp bought Little Hall’s Pond Cay in the Bahamas in 2004.
