This Cuban restaurant is located in the historic district of Ybor City. They are well known in our community not only for their food, but also the atmosphere. The decor has a rustic Cuban/Spanish theme. It has an open spacious lay out and a good size bar area.
It is well-known for its Cuban Sandwiches and Deviled Crab. Which are both delicious. The Deviled Crab is arguably the best in Florida. However, you’d be surprised to see the variety of the other items on the menu. They have everything from chicken soup, spaghetti, ziti, eggplant Parmesan, to steak and burgers. It truly is always hard to decide what to get when I’m there because everything is delicious!
The food comes out quick, with nice-sized portions that aren’t bad for the price. They have an awesome staff that makes you want to stay a while. I personally like to sit at the bar when I visit. The bartender there makes THE BEST Bloody Mary’s. I usually go on the weekends for a late lunch. Surprisingly, the place is always steady. I’m always greeted promptly, not only by the staff, but also the other regulars that go to this eclectic restaurant.
Another plus is that one of the owners is always there interacting with customers to ensure their experience was/is good.
If ever in town, I strongly recommend stopping by this relatively famous restaurant, if not for the food, but for the experience.
