Captain America Themed Party Favors for Kids

Lunch Boxes, Pez

Do your children adore Captain America and the Avengers? If so, you may want to consider planning a Captain America themed party this year. In my experience, the red, white and blue superhero’s history lends itself to a variety of party favor options. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

Captain America Mask

In my opinion, no Captain America themed party would be complete without a Captain America Mask being part of the kids’ goodie bags. There are several different Captain America Masks available. Some are made of vinyl. There are also masks made of card stock and plastic. I have found 8-piece cases of the plastic masks selling for less than $4 apiece through select party retailers. In my opinion, the plastic masks tend to be fairly durable and inexpensive when compared to the other options.

Captain America Tattoos and Face Paint Set

Captain American Tattoos and Face Paint Sets would undoubtedly make the kids smile as well. The kit that I am familiar with comes with an assortment of water-based face paints and six customizable Captain America Tattoos. The only downside is that the kits are apt to cost you $7 apiece through costume shops and specialty retailers. Of course you could also opt to forgo the kits and purchase a case of temporary tattoos instead. Oriental Trading often sells sheets of superhero tattoos for less than $2 each.

Captain America Coloring Book and Patriotic Crayons

If you are working with a tight budget, you may want to consider creating homemade Captain America coloring books and handing out boxes of Patriotic Crayons. A 24-piece case of Patriotic Crayons is apt to cost you $4 through party supply stores. As far as the book goes, there are free Captain America coloring sheets available online. I’d suggest creating the coloring book’s cover out of stars and stripes card stock. In most instances, you can purchase patriotic card stock through office supply stores, craft shops and specialty retailers. Prices for the card stock will vary.

Captain America Candy

When it comes to edible Captain America party favors, you have quite a few options to choose from. For starters, you could fill a red, white and blue cello bag with red, white and blue candy coated chocolates. Other options include patriotic Tootsie Rolls, Captain America PEZ Dispensers and candy filled Captain America Lunch Boxes. Personally, I adore the PEZ and lunch box options. However, they can be costly. The lunch boxes tend to sell for $20 each through candy retailers. A 6-piece case of the PEZ dispensers are apt to cost you $30.

Patriotic Toys

Last but not least, you may want to consider giving your party guests red, white and blue toys. Great options include bouncing balls, flying discs, miniature army men, squirt guns and plastic paratroopers. Based on my experience, you can usually purchase cases of the toys for less than $10 apiece through party supply shops.
