Cake Pan Wedding Cake Bridal Gift

Cake Icing, Cake Pans

Don’t you just love the idea of having the gift you pick out for the bride stand out, with dazzle, amongst the other gifts? If the bride walks to the gift table, and your gift is the one she sees immediately, won’t that be fabulous? When it comes to choosing gifts for a new bride, you can’t assume the pattern she would like for her dishes, or the type of silverware she would most love, but there are some fool-proof gifts you can give to most brides. There are certain things you know she’ll need, like baking pans. And, when you arrange the cake pans into a beautiful tower your gift will be prominent amongst the other presents.

Cake pans aren’t expensive and, when they’re brand new, they’re silver and shiny – perfect for creating a gorgeous wedding cake gift from the cake pans. An alternative is the colored-type of silicon pans. The gift can look simplistic, but still be a useful gift, or it can look spectacular, depending on the embellishments you might add.

Buy various sizes of square or round cake pans to create the easy tower. Make sure the pans diminish in size and that none of them are the same size. To make the tower, simply turn the largest pan upside-down, then stack the next, upside-down, and continue until you get to the smallest pan, and put it on top.

Although the tower of pans, which resembles a wedding cake, is a nice gift as it is, you can embellish it with any number of additional gifts or accents. To give the silver cake pans some color, you could use magnetic sheeting. Print a picture of wedding cake icing or decorations, onto the magnetic sheeting, and wrap the magnet around a pan. Do this to all the pans, cutting the magnetic sheeting pieces to exactly fit around each pan. Or, just cut a piece of wide ribbon, and wrap one around each cake pan. The ribbon works well for silicon or metal baking pans. Another choice is to drape each pan in satin or another fabric, and tuck the excess under each pan. With this technique, you can glue on strands of pearls, tiny flowers, or other accents.

Floral refrigerator magnets look great when you stick them to the cake pan wedding cake. Or, use real or silk flowers to accent the cake. Just place flowers on each level, here and there, up the tower of cake pans. If you want, top the cake pan tower with a bride and groom cake topper, or a bunch of flowers.

Would you like to give the bride a little bit more than just the cake pans? That’s easy to do. After turning the first cake pan upside-down, lay a gift on it, then stack the next pan, and lay another gift on it. Gifts you can hide under the pans include gift cards, oven mitts or potholders, measuring cups, and kitchen towels.

Your exquisite gift will definitely tower over the others, and will get noticed by the crowd. The cake pan present might not be the most expensive gift received by the bride but it will be remembered – and used – for many years.
