Breast Cancer Awareness Merchandise

Pink Ribbon, Susan G Komen for the Cure

If you know someone that has been diagnosed with breast cancer, has survived breast cancer, or just has a passion to spread awareness you might want to get some breast cancer awareness merchandise. I have never been affected by this cancer nor do I know anyone that has, but I have always felt a strong urge to support this cause and spread awareness for some reason. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month so you might want to start shopping now to get your merchandise to support and raise awareness for this cause. Here I will go over the top 5 sites that I have found for Breast Cancer Awareness merchandise.

1. Pink Ribbon Shop

This website is run by a woman who was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of thirty-two. You can read her story on the site, but she wanted to be able to spread awareness and found that it was hard to find merchandise with the pink ribbon. The site donates some proceeds to organizations that help research breast cancer as well. There is a huge variety of pink ribbon merchandise available through this site including cell phone accessories, wrist bands, car magnets, candles, and much more. The site is easy to search with a category list on the left hand side that separates all of the items so you don’t have to look at everything to find what you are looking for. On the right side of the page is a column for Featured Products which is nice because you might see something you want that you weren’t looking for. My favorite item on this site is this Crystal Necklace Awareness Ribbon that costs around $25.

2. She Thinks Pink Foundation

She Thinks Pink was founded by a woman who lost her 21 year old daughter to breast cancer. After losing her job she wanted to do something for her daughter to raise awareness of breast cancer. This is where She Thinks Pink came from. This site is set up a little different. On the right side of the page you will find links to sites about breast cancer, Locks of Love, Chemo Angels, and other informative information. On the right side of the page you will find the different categories of merchandise that is available such as gifts, pins, bears, and apparel. On this site my favorite product is this t-shirt that says Fight Like A Girl and has a pink ribbon on it. It will cost around $17.

3. Shop Komen

This site is part of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization and 25% of your purchase will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure in the fight against breast cancer. This is probably the most widely known foundation for breast cancer, but for some reason I have never read the history of this foundation before and after visiting this site finally did. It brought tears to my eyes. If you would like to read about Susan’s battle with breast cancer go here. This site is set up very nicely with women’s apparel, family apparel, New Balance, accessories, home office, premium products, and even education materials. It also has featured items that flash across the main page to let you see some of the items available. The product that I love on this site is a t-shirt for men. You can check it outhere and it will cost around $22.

4. Save the Ta-tas

This site has a catchy slogan Save the Ta-tas believing that laughter heals and was started by a woman that had two family members affected by breast cancer. A portion of every sale goes to the fight against breast cancer. The main page has the different categories listed such as hers, kids, men, sale, accessories and fun stuff, and boob lube. This site definitely makes you laugh at the different items, but get the point across just the same. My favorite item on here is a button that says Caught you lookin’ at my ta-tas and has a ribbon on it. You can buy this pin for $1.75 or it can be ordered in a 3 pack for $3.99.

5. The Breast Cancer Site

This site is great because you can visit this site every day, click a button, and sponsors will pay for a mammogram for someone. Each item you purchase also provides funds for a mammogram so no one loses by you shopping or just visiting this site. This site has a wide variety of products available and even has items on sale at different times. The product that I love the most on this site is a pink Live, Love, Laugh water bottle that is around $17.

All of these sites have great Breast Cancer Awareness merchandise for you to choose from. Wear your pink and spread the awareness for breast cancer!
