My impression of Bleu de Chanel was a fascinating one. It is brisk, crisp and full of aromatic flavor for the nose. Its scent has its own universe because it just screams sophistication for the modern man. I can see guys wearing this with a dark blue sport coat and jeans. The scent is sexy and can really make an impression on a first date out for dinner. Bleu de Chanel has a combination of scents that harmoniously work together very well. The peppercorn and citrusy effect combined with the soft nutmeg is quite an interesting treat. The middle notes bring out a sense of grapefruit and cedar that really brings out the sophistication of a man that impresses the world with his scent.
I noticed that the patchouli which is mixed together with sandalwood and ginger dance together to bring longevity and proper projection. This is a fine fragrance that is another job well done for the house of Chanel. You can see now that Chanel always bring premium fragrances to the market that is long lasting, even in shelf life. I really can’t wait to see what they bring out next so that they don’t leave the rest of us in anticipation.
I usually wear Bleu de Chanel in the evening when I take a girl out to eat for dinner. I make sure and look my best and spray 3-4 sprays on myself. It makes me feel confident and ready to take on any situation. When a girl compliments you because of your scent, it always makes you feel great. If you really smell this scent, you can get the nutmeg and jasmine effect with the sandalwood finishing it off. These are the notes that I smell the most.
If you are looking for a modern day elegant and energetic fragrance, then this may be the one for you. What comes to my mind is that of a distinguished great smelling gentlemen, ready to conquer the world at hand. I have received many compliments with this one and will probably keep it in my collection for quite some time. Although, the scent is kind of strong, make sure you know what is right for your senses. Two sprays on the chest and on the outside of my clothes is usually what I need to get the job done. Enjoy!
