Black Orchid by Tom Ford perfume has top notes of black truffle, ylang ylang, bergamot, black currant, mandarin, jasmine, black gardenia. Mid notes of the fragrance are lotus wood, black orchid, and base notes of dark chocolate patchouli, incense, vetiver, vanilla tears, balsam, and sandalwood make up the entire scent. If anyone has smelled Angel by Thierry Mugler then you may compare the perfume Black Orchid by Tom Ford as very similar.
This Black Orchid by Tom Ford fragrance is very strong and overpowering so a little goes a long way. The scent is somewhat sweet like candy; hence the chocolate and vanilla base notes. The fragrance is targeted to be sexy and seductive; therefore, an appropriate age group would be women from the ages of 18 to 40. Older women may not find this scent appealing.
