Betty White Nude Photos Hit the Internet?

Suzanne Somers

Who would have known? Betty White, multiple Emmy Award-winning actress and star of the hit TV Land show Hot In Cleveland, is said to have been a model back in the day (the 40s and 50s). According to some, Betty White was once a pin-up model, which required that she at times pose nude. Whether they are or aren’t, the nude NSFW photos have now become a hit on the Internet — much like everything else associated with the popular just turned 89-year-old actress these days.

ZackTaylor.ca reported in June that there were reports of people in possession of naked photos of the famous film and television stars. And now appears that Betty White has now joined the likes of Suzanne Somers and Vanessa Hudgens and so many others with nude photo scandals. Apparently, four photos of Betty White, including one with her late husband, Allen Ludden, were found in a box left behind with other memorabilia at a house where she once lived.

But Betty White said at the time that they were not of her and her late husband. Her agent, Jeff Witjas, said that the rumors popped up from time to time, but they were not true. “And Betty’s laughing,” he said. “She can’t believe people are still talking about this… Maybe they found her old jewelry.”

The pictures are simple nudes. Nothing risque or vulgar. In fact, several websites have labeled the poses “cute” and “adorable.” In the pictures, the Betty White double is posed kneeling or sitting, completely naked, but arranged just so only her bare breasts can be be seen. Apparently, the model even posed for a set of naked girl playing cards, fleshing out the 9 of hearts.

It would seem that the young actress did well for herself. She co-produced a syndicated television show called Life With Elizabeth for which she won her first Emmy in 1951. That show would remain on the air for four seasons, although its last season would see the show renamed The Betty White Show. And the rest, it would seem, became television history.

Over her storied career, she has been nominated for 20 Emmy Awards, according to the Internet Movie Database. She has won seven, including three for her most famous portrayals: two for playing Sue Ann Nivens on The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1975, 1976) and one for her role as Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls (1986). She has racked up six nominations for her guest appearances alone, winning one for appearing on The John Laroquette Show in 1996. Her popularity as an actress and as a guest on various shows, plus a popular guest role in the Sandra Bullock film The Proposal, resulted in a drive on Facebook that prompted Saturday NIght Live producer Lorne Michaels to invite her to host the show in 2010, where she would win a second Emmy for Guest Appearance.

She also won the Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010.

At 88, Betty White would again be a pin-up girl, if indeed those nude photos are of her, posing for a 2011 calendar — just not naked. The calendar, which showed the versatile actress in various poses with buff, half-nude men and a few animals. There are also archival images thrown in. All royalties from The Betty White 2011 Calendar go to the Morris Animal Foundation, an animal charity where Betty White sits on the board of trustees.
