Best Tasting Organic Soup Out There – Pacific-Organic Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato

Natural Foods, Organic Farms, Tostitos

I love to cook everything from scratch, and I take great pride in what I serve to my guests. However, I am so tempted to use Pacific Natural Foods- Organic Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato soup and serve it the next time I have company come over. It’s that good! Pacific Natural Foods have several varieties of organic soups that come in cartons. The one that my husband and I believe is the best is the roasted red pepper and tomato version. Just before serving it, to give it some texture, I like to crunch up some Tostitos Multi-Grain chips in it.

Pacific- Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato soup has a slight kick to it. Not that it is too spicy because I don’t like foods too spicy. However, it leaves a slight peppery flavor in the back of the throat which adds zest to the soup. It is beyond anything plain. It really does taste gourmet-like. I’m actually trying to do some research, so I can figure out the recipe myself because I would enjoy taking pride so I can say that I cooked this soup. You can taste the flavors of fresh roasted garlic and roasted red peppers combining flavors with vine ripened tomatoes and fresh milk to generate a creamy texture. Best of all it is certified organic. Typically, I have heard you need to see “Certified Organic USDA” to be certain something is organic. However, on their carton they use “Certified to the Source” and describes that the meaning of that origin is that every ingredient is guaranteed and everything is made with the finest of all natural organic products.

Pacific Natural Foods is a company founded in 1987. They grow many of their ingredients from their own organic farms and ensure that their partner farms and suppliers guarantee the same quality and safety as they do.

All you have to do is pour from the carton into a bowl and microwave it. I like the idea that it comes in a carton rather than a can. So many times, I can taste that metal taste that comes from a can. Enjoy it like me with the Tostitos Multi-Grain chips crunched on top. Tostitos Multi-Grain has a high fiber content which will add to your fiber source along with the soup’s own fiber which is one gram per serving. I always look for ways to add fiber to every meal. (hyperlink my article on fibersure to every meal) You can combine it with a grilled cheese sandwich. Garnish it with leftover turkey, green onions and create a sensational meal anytime you desire. The nutritional facts shows two servings for a 16 ounce carton. One serving has 110 calories with 2 grams of fat. It will give you 10% of your daily Vitamin A, 4% of Vitamin C, 15% of Calcium and 2% of Iron, all for one serving. The cost is around $2.29 for the 16 ounce carton. You can save if you get the larger 32 ounce carton at $4.19. Sometimes, my dinner meals have to be quick due to busy schedules. It takes 10 minutes to whip up a nice salad and warm up this delicious soup for a satisfying meal.
