It was an era that is still vibrant even today. Not a whole lot of changes have happened since the ’90s in the music world. The 1990s was one of the most unusual and tolerant decade in music history. Not only did such singers as Britney Spears make it big, but big punk singers like Marilyn Manson also found popularity in the music world. Such bands as the Backstreet Boys, and Nirvana were all big hitters on the charts. Each band and singer had a different sound. Every one of them had their own selection of fans.
I grew up with ’90s music. I was there to hear about Bill Clinton’s stained pants. I was there when we lost Kurt Cobain. I’m a big fan of such singers as Shawn Mullins, such bands as Creed, and such one-hit-wonders as Ace Of Base. They had made their contributions to the music of the 1990s. The ’90s gave us such definitive singers and bands as Sheryl Crow, The Counting Crows, and Korn. Such bands as The Smashing Pumpkins and Green Day sounded so unique, they paved the way for the more modern bands.
