Best Men’s Mountain Bikes

Mountain Bikes

There are thousands of models of mountain bikes on the mountain today, and some better than others. Here are my favorite men’s bikes that I have ever ridden.

5. Giant Trance X2 – This is a great bike, with everything spot on, except for its uncomfortable grips (which are changeable). It has a beautiful suspension system, and is perfect for an all-around all terrain ride, comfortable in every aspect. This bike however is trail-oriented, and might be difficult to ride on an asphalt surface (unless you change the tires). This bike is priced around $2,700-3,000 in the U.S, and I believe it is worth the money.

4. Trek 3900 – This bike is not the most rugged of all mountain bikes, but is perfect for beginners who are not able to spend to much. This bike has a rigid frame, and is also available in a womens model. This bike is the value bike of all bikes, as it has the great features of the Giant Trance X2, without the huge price tag. Priced around $400-500 in the U.S.

3. Kona Kula – This bike has been around for 10 years, and it has kept up its simple idea and most people agree it is one of the greatest mountain bikes. It is known for its performance and handling, wide ranges of sizes, and quality components for the low price. This bike is good for an intermediate biker, willing to spend some money. Priced around $1200 dollars in the U.S.

2. Blur LT – There is absolutely nothing wrong with this bike, and everyone agrees its awesome. But, having that said, it also introduces a ridiculous price tag in the U.S, starting at $3500. If you are willing to pay that much, than this bike is for you.

1. Rockhopper – Introduced in 2009, the Rockhopper does just as the title says, and it does a damn good job. The price is the best part of all, with quality and quantity smashed into one great bike. Priced at $500, you really get a bike for your money.
