Hawaii is a perfect location for families. There are six main islands in Hawaii that allow visitors and four are the main ones recommended. The islands are: Oahu where Honolulu and Waikiki are located, Maui, the big island and Kauai.

Most families prefer Maui to any other island in Hawaii. Maui offers several hotels, resorts and condos for a bargain. Maui has the Maui Ocean Center which houses the largest aquarium in Hawaii. In the right season from December 15 through April 15 families can whale watch. Families can visit the Haleakala National park which has a dormant volcano. The Big Island
If your family prefers volcanoes, tropical forests, waterfalls and black sand beaches then the big island is for you.
This island is quite big so families have to plan for a lot of driving. The island has several water sports activities, snorkeling and swimming, though since it is a relatively new island, there aren’t as many white sandy beaches.

Kauai
Kaui is a spectacular island and many Hollywood films such as Jurassic park have been shot at this island.
If your family enjoys outdoor activities then Kauai should be your vacation spot. There are many water sports available, your family can choose to trek the miles of trails through the rainforests and along the ocean cliffs.
