Bardwil Linens Kitchen Towels

Kitchen Colors, Linens

Sometimes it’s the simple things that can make a kitchen look updated and tidy, and one of the cheapest ways of doing this is to hang some nice new kitchen towels on my oven handle. I detest the look of old, worn, faded and outdated kitchen towels, so when they go on sale I always stock up.

Fred Meyer stores recently had a “Buy One Get One Free” sale on a variety of kitchen items, one of them being their towels and dishcloths. I checked out the expensive, velour like towels, and even though they had really nice patterns, it has been my experience that they don’t absorb water as well, so I ended up buying more of the Bardwil Linens brand of towels.

I purchased a set of three kitchen towels by Bardwil Linens, which retailed for only $7.99. My kitchen colors are sage green and cream, and this set of three towels all matched my colors perfectly. The first towel is plain sage green, the second is mostly cream with some small accents of sage green, and the third is a checkered pattern of cream and sage.

These are what Bardwil Linens refers to as their best selling three piece kitchen towels, and they are generously sized measuring 16 inches by 28 inches, and are nice and thick. The towels are made from 100% cotton, and can be machine washed, (warm water is suggested), and they can be dried in the dryer on low heat. It is also recommended that no bleach be used on these towels.

Bardwil Linens Kitchen Towels are actually a little bit thicker than the more expensive velour style kitchen towels, and I really like the Bardwil Linens brand because they are extremely thirsty towels, and they are great for hand drying dishes. My more expensive towels look nice, but they are not very absorbent. This makes trying to dry dishes, or counter tops, or whatever – very frustrating and futile.

Since the Bardwil Linens Kitchen Towels were available at a two for one price, I purchased a matching set of three Bardwil Linens Dish Cloths. It’s a nice touch to have matching towels and dish cloths in my kitchen, and even though these are, for the most part, plain, they are still quality towels and are simplistically attractive.

Considering the “higher end” kitchen towels retailed for as much as $2.99 each, I think I got a great value in purchasing the set of three Bardwil Linens Kitchen Towels for only $7.99, and I was able to pick up the matching set of dish cloths free with purchase.

If you are looking for less expensive kitchen towels for your motor home, trailer, or other RV, or if you just want to save money on your towels so you can replace them more often when they do fade, the Bardwil Linens Kitchen Towels are a great choice.
