Bank of America’s Add it Up Program

America Online, Bank of America

What is Add it Up?

Bank of America has recently begun a new program called “Add It Up” that allows you to use your bank debit card to access a huge variety of promotional discounts from retailers through their Add it Up website, along with receiving discounts in-store at certain retailers. All you need to do to sign up is access the Add it Up website, log on to your Bank of America checking account, and enter a few pieces of information about yourself, such as your email and interests. You’ll automatically be enrolled in this website and allowed access to the many offers and discounts at tons of popular retailers online. The discount you are offered, such as 3% cash back, will be deposited back into your checking account within 30-90 days, paid out on a monthly basis.

Who is Eligible?

You must have a Bank of America check card linked to a Bank of America deposit account or credit card and be enrolled in their online banking service.

You must also be able to access the Add it Up website through the online banking service.

What Retailers Participate?

Currently almost a hundred retailers participate in the Add it Up program. Popular retailers include: Target, Walmart, Gap, Overstock.com, Saks, Barnes and Noble, Buy.com, Toys R Us, KMart, Old Navy, and more!

What is the Discount or Offer?

The offer or discount depends on the retailer. Currently, Target offers an 8% cash back offer, while Magazines.com gives 40% cash back. If you sign up for new Netflix service with the Add it Up program, you’ll receive $15 cash back. T-Mobile will give $60 cash back for a two year plan agreement. The discounts and offers vary, but they’re all worth it and the service is free!
