AZO Yeast for Feminine Yeast Infections

Some women are prone to yeast infections. I am lucky in that I have rarely experienced this health issue. Nonetheless, I still remember the uncomfortable itching and burning symptoms of the condition.

There are several medications on the market to deal with yeast infections. However, most of them involve a messy cream that actually seems to make the symptoms worse before they get better.

Luckily there is a new alternative in the marketplace – in pill form. It is called AZO Yeast. It comes from the same company that has been treating the symptoms of urinary tract infections for decades.

AZO Yeast declares a dual-action formula that solves the discomfort of symptoms now while also helping to prevent a re occurrence in the future. The second step is accomplished through the medication’s probiotic base.

I also appreciate that AZO Yeast is all natural without the benefit of unneeded and unwanted excess chemicals, additives and preservatives. This homeopathic approach seeks to stimulate the body’s natural defense systems to fight against the infection.

Ingredients include boneset, ganeden BC-30 bacillus coagulants, carnuba wax, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, mistletoe leaf, soy protein and starch. It may also contain hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and polyethylene glycol.

Using AZO Yeast is easy. If you already have an existing infection, take three doses of AZO Yeast per day until the symptoms abate. To use as a prophylactic, take one tablet every day.

AZO Yeast can be used solely on its own or in conjunction with other suggested creams, ointments and suppositories.

One should keep in mind; however, that AZO Yeast is not a cure for the underlying problem – the yeast infection. It simply treats the symptoms related to that condition. It is always best to ask your physician before taking any over-the-counter medication.

AZO Yeast is not recommended for use by women who are pregnant or still breast-feeding. Furthermore, it isn’t recommended for use on children under the age of 16. Even then, it is best to ask a physician before the medication is used.

If the symptoms of the infection do not clear up or get worse, stop taking the medication and contact a physician for advice. If you experience any unusual side effects from the medication, stop using it immediately.

While an overdose of AZO Yeast is unlikely, if one does occur, contact the local poison control center or report to an ER facility. You can also contact the federal hotline for poison control at 1-800-222-1222.

Store AZO Yeast at room temperature away from sources of extreme heat or cold. Make sure humidity in the storage area is also within normal ranges.
