Aphogee Gloss Therapy Review

Curly Hairstyles

Scent
I have experienced two different scents on various occasions while using Aphogee Gloss Therapy. This hair product either does not smell like anything or tends to smell like burning rubber. The latter form may not be very pleasant, but it is not too strong. In fact, there is subtleness to Aphogee Gloss Therapy when it comes to scents. That is something that can be appreciated, especially when some hair products can go overboard in this area.

They either smell good, nice but overwhelming or very bad. Since Aphogee Gloss Therapy doesn’t really have much of a scent, it does not fall anywhere in between. That may be a bonus for women (and men) who do not want to walk around with hair that smells stronger than body sprays or perfumes. Therefore, I give Aphogee Gloss Therapy extra kudos for not having an annoyingly smelling hair product.

Quality
During a few shopping trips, I found Aphogee Gloss Therapy in two sizes. The smallest size of this hair product is less than one ounce. The largest bottle of Aphogee Gloss Therapy that I have found comes in a 4 ounce container. This hair product is used to add shine to your hair. I have found that this is the most prevalent feature of Aphogee Gloss Therapy that works pretty well.

Some text on the packaging also claims to mend split ends and help overcome frizzy hair. I am not yet convinced about Aphogee Gloss Therapy’s ability to repair split ends or frizzy hair. Maybe some continued use will help with my thoughts about that particular feature. However, Aphogee Gloss Therapy does do a good job at adding shine to my hair. While I only used this hair product a few times, it has delivered on the promise of shiny tresses. It has worked best on straight hairstyles, but can also benefit curly hairstyles as well. Some product descriptions for Aphogee Gloss Therapy also claims that it provides UV Sunscreen. If that is true, it will be another reason to purchase and use this hair product.

Price
The smallest size of Aphogee Gloss Therapy is a favorite because it is beyond cheap. It is usually provided as a free gift when purchasing other Aphogee hair products such as the “Keratin & Green Tea Restructurizer” in larger sizes. Free is not always the best, but can work in this scenario. Therefore, I would recommend purchasing the smaller size if you only intend to use it sparingly. The 4 ounce bottle costs between $6 and $7, which is not too expensive but this price is not cheap either. I would only buy the larger bottle if using the hair product on a regular basis. Since winter months tend to dry out the hair, it may help to purchase Aphogee Gloss Therapy more during that particular season.

Verdict
Aphogee Gloss Therapy is very flexible. It is of the reasons that I was satisfied with my purchase of Aphogee Gloss Therapy. You can use it on short, medium or long hair, making this a good product to buy for both men and women. I would purchase this product again to add some extra shine for special occasions or going out on the town. I have also enjoyed using it because the glossy liquid is not greasy. This was a pleasant surprise, as I expected a “gloss” product to be moderately greasy. Aphogee Gloss Therapy wins in this category for eliminating a potential messy hairstyling experience. The product does what it is supposed to do….add great shine to hair.
