Film Music, Hindi, Indian Music

A R Rahman, the maestro of Indian music is coming to US and Canada after four years for a musical extravaganza, called 3rd Dimension World Tour. This is going to be a great opportunity for the people like me who love Indian music and want to see the musical personalities at their live concerts. A R Rahman will be in US and Canada almost for a month from 27th May 2007 to 17th June 2007 and performing this concert (3rd Dimension World Tour) at nine different centers (Atlanta, San Francisco, Vancouver, Houston, Chicago, Toronto, Dallas, New York and Washington) of United Sates of America and Canada.

A R Rahman means always a special means of Indian music. He is the composer who defines a new tradition of Indian music. He is the landmark of Indian music. In today’s picture Indian music could have not been able to sustain the same glory and popularity without the contribution of A R Rahman. That was Rahul Dev Barman who first introduced the mild flavor of western music into the lyrics based rich Indian music and this is Rahman who completed that experiment of putting together the western and Indian music. The film ‘Roja‘ was the first break for Rahman in earlier 90s. After that he never looked back. Rahman means a new way and rhymes of Indian Hindi songs. He was the music director of Bombay Dream (2002) which had a great success in England. The famous music composer Andrew Lloyd Webber appointed Rahman for this movie. Rahman is mainly famous for his contribution in Bollywood Hindi film music. He popularized the Bollywood Hindi movie song all over the world.
