A Memorable Honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta

Romantic Honeymoon

When you think of your honeymoon you want it to be the most romantic time for you and your new spouse, so choosing the right place is crucial. Puerto Vallarta has all you could want for a romantic honeymoon, such as great food, spectacular resorts and lots of fun to suite everyone.

I had a memorable honeymoon if Puerto Vallarta and would recommend the destination to any honeymooners, I will give you a guided tour of my own travels on my honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta.

Puerto Vallarta is known for its beautiful beaches but, Puerto Vallarta has so much more to offer, such as the beautiful historic district, tours, fishing and we can’t forget the mountains and the view they have. We decided to do our honeymoon in the winter because we really wanted to avoid all the tourists but, we still wanted it to be nice enough for us to do things. Sounds surprising that we could have fun in the winter but, it was dry and still not to cool at night the busy season was over so it was not too crowded. You can actually swim in the ocean all year round.

We stayed in a lovely bed and breakfast on the south side of Puerto Vallarta; called Quinta Maria Cortez, it is a beautiful beachfront property for that perfect romantic honeymoon. The Quinta Maria Cortez is located close to many fun activities, beautiful sites and great landmarks. If you are looking for the flavor of Mexico with the comforts of home this is the place, the Quinta Maria Cortez is decorated with antique furniture and has all you will need to enjoy your stay such as, walking Quinta Maria Cortez is just a short walk from main Puerto Vallarta, It is in easy access to jungle tours, fishing and the historical buildings and sites, Then there is the fact that it is located on the beach so you can sun during the day or go to the roof and watch the sunset at night.

What about dinning? Well we are the type that wanted authentic Spanish food but did not want to pay a great deal, so we found a little restaurant off the beaten path; called La Esquina de los Caprichos, it was cozy enough for newly weds without breaking your pocket. They have delicious tapas like you would find in Spain and the most appetizing pulpo’s there is. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife she caters to the restaurant and he cooks.

Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful place to honeymoon but, when making your decision for the perfect place you will want to keep in mind that no matter how much you may want to stay in and spend all your time with your spouse indoors, you will eventually travel outside your accommodations, so the accommodations need to be romantic but choose a place that has the fun activities that you and your new spouse can do together. After all the honeymoon is the time for you and your spouse to get to know each other better and spend time together before getting back into the hectic lives we all lead.
