Best Oils for Skin

Almond Oil, Vitamin E Oil

I’ve experimented with a number of oils over the years. The oils that I have found that work best for my skin are almond oil, coconut oil and vitamin e oil. To determine if an oil is effective it has to do three things: moisturize without the greasy effect, tone the skin, and fight against acne. I have used each oil for at least six months daily in the past to determine its effectiveness.

Currently, I use almond oil. Out of all the three oils, I have to label it the absolute best. I use almond oil every morning and night. It aborbs into the skin without looking greasy. After about three months of first using it, I noticed that my skin tone evened out even more. Almond oil got rid of any acne that flared up within one to two days. It is the only substance I use on my face after washing it because it moisturizes so well that I don’t need to use anything else. I’ve read other good things about almond oil from other users too, which is a good thing because it is one of things that sold me into using it. Even when I slack up and don’t drink enough water throughout the day, almond oil leaves that glow to my face. I will continue to use it because all of my results have been positive.

I have used vitamin e oil for about a year. Vitamin e oil is known for being good for the skin. I did not notice any particular results with vitamin e oil until about the sixth month into using it. It took a while to notice the results, but I am glad I stuck with it. It tones the skin, but not as quickly as almond oil toned my skin. It moisturizes well without the greasy look, but it doesn’t leave the skin with that glow like almond oil does. I did not get many acne flare ups while using it. I consider that to be extremely important. Just like with almond oil, I could get away with using it as the sole moisturizer.

I used coconut oil for two years. While it is effective for the skin, it took a year to notice the results. I started the notice the dark spots fading away on my body. It worked well enough to be the sole moisturizer for my skin. Coconut oil moisturizes the skin really well, but leaves a residue. After having it on for hours, if I scratched my skin, I would get residue under my nails from the coconut oil that absorbed into the skin which made it seem as if my skin was dirty. That was the only downside to using it. It is the best oil for acne in my experience. I would dab the oil directly on the blemish, and it would be gone practically the next day.

That is my experience with all three of the oils. I’ve tried other oils too, but these three are the best for my skin in terms of moisturizing, toning and fighting acne.
