Go to a street fair. Several cities in the Sacramento area have street fairs different nights throughout the summer. For example, Roseville’s street market is held on Tuesday evenings. When temperatures heat up go for a swim. It’s not unusual for the temperature to climb above 100 degrees in Sacramento. When you want to cool off head to Folsom Lake for a swim. Many surrounding Sacramento counties have county fairs held various dates throughout the summer.
Go to the races. The All American Speedway just outside of Sacramento in Roseville has stock car races every Saturday night. The cars include street stocks and mini stocks.
