Spider-man and X-men have an excellent collection of villains. Magneto, Doctor Octopus, Sabretooth, Sandman, Juggernaut and Green Goblin are just a few of the many villains that make up Spider-man and the X-men’s rogues gallery. Unfortunately they have so many of the great villains that other superheroes are left without good options. One of those superheroes is Daredevil. After Kingpin and Bullseye there is a major drop off in the quality of Daredevil villains.

Stilt Man, a villain that walks on stilts, has only one thing going for him. Stilt Man is cheesy stupid, which means the issues of Daredevil he appears in are actually pretty fun. Unfortunately the rest of Daredevil’s are stupid in nothing but a stupid way.

Comic Books often make female versions of male comic book characters. Spider Woman, Batgirl and She-Hulk are just a few female versions of male comic book characters. Then the comic book writers go a little too far and make lame female versions of character like Lady Bullseye.

Spider-man gets to fight a guy dressed like a Rhino and a large mutated Lizard. Wolverine fights a guy dressed like a Sabretooth tiger. Daredevil fights a guy that calls himself the Owl.

Purple Man is just a typical villain with one exception. Guess what it is? Yes, he’s a man but guess what else. He’s purple!

Typhoid Mary is considered by most to be a legitimate villain but I’ve never been a big fan. Typhoid Mary is mentally ill and most writers just can’t pull of writing mentally ill characters, they are just the usual clichéd crazy person.

The Jester was an actor that finally got his big break on Broadway only to be fired after just one miserable performance. Eventually the Jester ended up working for a children’s program but was tired of having thrown pies thrown in his face. Finally the Jester did what any failed actor would do, become a criminal and attempt to kill Daredevil’s buddy Foggy Nelson.

Leap-Frog is a villain that wears a frog costume and wears electrical coils on his feet so that the can jump long distances. A five year old could come up with a better Halloween costume.

The Ani-Men is an entire group of lame villains. Ape-Man, Bird-Man, Cat-Man and Frog-Man. Someone was watching a little too much National Geographic when they thought up these characters.

I can imagine the pitch for Man-Bull, “see, Man-Bull is completely different from all the other Daredevil villains because ‘man’ is at the beginning of his name.
10 Worst Daredevil Villains: Mandrill
Mandrill’s most powerful ability is that he uses sex pheromones to control women and make them do anything he wants. I’ve never been a fan of any super powers that have to do with sex. It just seems like comic book writers that want to write about sex are playing into the whole “comic book fans are nerds who can’t get women” cliché.
