Dress in your best kid-friendly costume and head for the Enchanted Hollow’s Eve where you’ll encounter live spiders, alligators, snakes, wizards, goblins and many other creatures of the night. For the fearless and brave hearted, there will be the Infamous Haunted Academy, and for the younger, they can choose a more magical experience. All proceeds from this haunted event will go to benefit Star Eco Station’s rescued animals.

Take a frightening tour through the graveyard and then into a haunted house at the 68 Cent Crew Theater Company’s second annual 7 Nights of Horror in the Haunted House. Be prepared to scream as you stumble upon ghouls, ghosts and goblins in this haunted house in Los Angeles!
Location: Theatre 68 on 5419 Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles, near the Western, across from Food 4 Less.
When: October 25-31. Open from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. every night except for Friday, Saturday and Halloween, which will be from 8:00 p.m. until Midnight.

Make your way through Satan’s Chop Shop maze, intended to — in their words — “scare the living s***” out of anyone who has the guts to enter. Some of Hollywood’s movie artists designed this haunted house in Los Angeles.

When: October 27, 28 and 31 (7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.).
Admission: $2.00 per person.

Visit two haunted houses near Los Angeles at the Haunted House Theme Park. With 18 years of haunts, the Haunted House Theme Park promises a scarier haunt for 2007 in their Spooky House 18 Haunted Mansion: Franklin’s Revenge and their Darkwater Asylum. For a more toned-downed haunted adventure for the younger children and their families, drop in for the matinee session on Saturday or Sunday (October 6-28) from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.. Admission to the festival grounds is free, and so is parking. However, tickets for the toned-downed haunted attractions will be $10.00 (includes the Spooky House 18 Mansion and Darkwater Asylum, which is appropriate for the children).

Ages: Open to guests of all ages, but they recommend that children 12 and under are accompanied by an adult.
Looking for a free haunt? Visit Tustin Haunt 2007: Carnival of Screams. Past haunts featured an actual execution, a corpse burning at the stake, a treasure cave of spiders and treasure and much more. This year’s haunted has promised more of a “technically advanced” scare with clowns.
Location: Brittany Woods, off Irvine Blvd. in Tustin.
When: October 27 (Sunset until 10:00 p.m.), the PG-rated night will be on October 28 (5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.), and finally, October 31 from Sunset until 10:00 p.m.. Dates and times could change, so, please visit the Tustin Haunt website before heading to the haunt.

The 13th Annual Haunted Maze has planned a live execution chamber, terrifying twists, ghouls and lots of blood! They said they were “dying to ‘meat’ you.”

Knott’s Scary Farm presents their annual Halloween Haunt. Make your way through 160 acres of 13 terrifying mazes, 7 hair-raising shows, 4 horrific scare zones, over 800 monsters looking for their next victim, re-themed rides and more!
Location: Knott’s Berry Farm.
When: October 24-31. Closes at 5:30 p.m. and reopens at 7:00 p.m.

Nightmares and Beyond was voted the most famous haunted house in Orange County. There you’ll encounter monsters that float, an alien room, Freddy, Michael Meyers and more.
