The church and a nearby reception hall. These are the ancient old traditional places to host a wedding ceremony and reception. And traditional can definitely be good, especially if you are an active member of your church or synagogue or if you or your fiancé are particularly keen on sticking to your religious beliefs about marriage.

Many people, though, in this day and age are approaching their wedding and their wedding planning process with a desire to really flaunt their individual styles and personalities as a couple. And for a lot of people a church or synagogue tends to be a bit too restricting to fully do so.
