Silk Vanilla Soy Milk Review

Health
Silk Vanilla Soy Milk is low in fat and has fewer calories than regular milk. I purchased a small refrigerated version because it has a long list of vitamins and minerals. This soy milk has 100 calories and 3.5 grams of fat. It does not have any cholesterol but is low in fiber. Silk Vanilla Soy Milk also has 7 grams of sugar, 6 grams of protein and 10 grams of carbohydrates. There is a hefty portion of Vitamin B12 (50%) and 30% each of Calcium, Vitamin D and Riboflavin. Several other vitamins and minerals in Silk Vanilla Soy Milk range from 4% to 10%.

Quality
This soy milk was thicker than expected. Silk Vanilla Soy Milk was surprisingly creamy when I poured it into a bowl. I expected this product to be loose like regular milk. It actually had solid appearance which is better than some thinning milk products that I bought in previous years. I was not familiar with soy milk and expected this product to have an odd scent or color. None of that was part of my experience, which is very promising.

Silk Vanilla Soy Milk is a good option for men and women who experience nausea when drinking or using regular milk. It does not make you sick or create unpleasant gas. This can also be a good alternative when serving breakfast to children who have complications with regular milk. I noticed this soy milk product absorb quickly into cereal. That is a nice benefit, as you may not have any left over milk filled with sugar from the cereal. Kids are less likely to waste milk by pouring it in a sink or leaving the bowl.

Price
Silk Vanilla Soy Milk is not cheap and may significantly increase your grocery bill. Buying this soy milk may be difficult, especially for those who do not have a lot of money. However, there are a few sales throughout the year where you can save $2 or more on Silk Soy Milk. I found a quart of this soy milk for $2.19 which is a nice bargain. Although they are priced high, Silk Vanilla Soy Milk does offer good benefits for what you pay.

Taste Test
Silk Vanilla Soy Milk does not have much of a flavor. It is actually a low-key product, which I have learned to appreciate. It is easy to expect this soy product to have a strong vanilla taste. However, it is unlike those chocolate and strawberry flavored milk products. Many of those are sugary and have unnecessary ingredients. On the contrary, Silk Vanilla Soy Milk has just enough flavors to make it tolerable for a newbie.

Verdict
Silk Vanilla Soy Milk is not scary and is loaded with nutritional benefits. There is not much more that I could ask for when purchasing milk to have with cereal. This product makes it easier to add milk to your diet. That may be enough for some women and men to pay a few extra dollars for a container of soy milk. Silk Vanilla Soy Milk is easy to digest and may even convince you to try other soy products.
