What was Tupac Shakur’s Cause of Death?

On September 7, 1996, Tupac had attended the Mike Tyson fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. After the Mike Tyson fight, Tupac saw Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson who was a member of the South Side Crips. Tupac Shakur rushed Anderson and knocked him down. Tupac’s entourage also had rushed Anderson.

The fight was captured on video at the MGM hotel. After the fight, Shakur met up with Suge Knight to go to the Death Row club 662 also known as (Club Steven). Tupac rode with Knight in his 1996 black BMW 750i sedan including some of Tupac’s friends the Outlaws and bodyguards. At 11:14 p.m. while stopped at intersection of East Flamingo Road and Koval lane. Where Tupac was shot in a drive-by shooting.

He was hit 4 times twice in his chest and 1 on each arm. While Knight was scratched in the head with a piece of flying glass. After paramedics arrived and took Tupac and Knight to the University Medical Center. Tupac was placed on life support until his death on September 13, 1996. He was 25 years old. The cause of death was respiratory failure and cardiac arrest.
