The Abe Lincoln/JFK Assassination Link No One Ever Writes About

Coincidence…or something more?

Abraham Lincoln was first elected to Congress in 1846. John F. Kennedy was first elected in 1946, exactly 100 years later! Ohmigod, that is weird isn’t it? I mean, you know, considering they Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860 and JFK was elected President exactly 100 years later in 1960. Wow, what are the odds of that? I mean, you know, considering that both died from being shot in the back of the head. Which is really bizarre considering that Abraham Lincoln was shot in the back of the head in a theater, and the man who shot John F. Kennedy hid in a movie theater to hide after the crime.

Yes, there has been this whole cult of mysterious coincidence surrounding the strange, unlikely ties between our two famous assassinated Presidents. You know them, I’m sure. How both Lincoln and Kennedy were succeeded after their deaths by men named Johnson-Andrew Johnson in Lincoln’s case and Lyndon Johnson in Kennedy’s. And how both were shot to death by two southern men who are known to history by three names, John Wilkes Booth and Lee Harvey Oswald. And, of course, the coincidence that many point to as being utterly beyond belief: that both men made public comments that seemed to have foretold their own deaths. Just one day before making that fateful trip to Ford’s Theater, Abe Lincoln reportedly told one of his bodyguards that all the bodyguards in the world wouldn’t be enough to protect him if any of the people who despise him really want to kill him. Those words were echoed 100 years later when JFK reportedly said, “If somebody wants to shoot me from a window with a rifle, nobody can stop it, so why worry about it.” That comments about the rifle is also used by all the conspiracy nuts who willingly avoid looking closely at the real solid evidence.

Speaking of the locations of the assassinations of Lincoln and Kennedy, what could be any weirder than the fact that Lincoln and Kennedy were both killed in a Ford: Lincoln in Ford’s Theater and Kennedy in a Ford…Lincoln! Oh dear God, it’s true, there is something mysterious and supernatural going on here.

As far as I’m concerned the mother of all weird connections between the Abraham Lincoln and John Kennedy assassinations is the one that is almost never noticed or commented upon in articles such as this. There is, in fact, one downright eerie linkage between these events and I believe the reason it isn’t mentioned is because it contains an element that undermines the very reason anyone ever went through the trouble of figuring this stuff out in the first place. And what is this unbelievably strange connection between events that took place a century apart?

Most people believe John Wilkes Booth acted as a lone gunman in killing Abraham Lincoln when in fact he was a part of a broad conspiracy, whereas most people think a broad conspiracy was at work in the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy when in fact, Lee Harvey Oswald was nothing but a deranged lone gunman.
