A Guide to 1920s Wedding Invitations

If you’re planning a 1920s themed wedding, below are several different invitation types that you can use for your big day.

A Night of Jazz Invites- Since Jazz was popular in the 1920’s, these invites will really capture the musical essence of your wedding. The invites feature bright white cardstock paper with the design and wording printed in the color of your choice. The invites are available through Invitation Consultants and come with the envelopes included. The prices vary, depending on the amount you order, but cost either $57.00 for for 25 invites or $90.00 for 100 invites.

Toast With Glasses Invites- These jet black invites are perfect for a fun vintage themed wedding. They feature a jet black invite designed beautifully with gold champagne glass designs and cream enclosure cards are included. The invites are available through Invitation Consultants and come with envelopes included (which can be upgraded to a bavarian flat envelope for an additional fee) and cost either $121.00 for 25 invites or $182.00 for 100 invites.

Wedding Trellis Invites- These vintage invites go great with any vintage themed wedding, especially one with a 1920’s era theme. The invites are designed by DwellStudio and feature a twisting vine and garden imagery design on a ivory white background. The invites are available with either a smoke ivory background, or a custom color for no additional charge and matching save the date, reception, rehearsal dinner, etc. cards are also available. The Wedding Trellis Invites are available through Wedding Paper Divas and the cost depends on the amount you order, but start at $45.90 for 10 invites.

Odd Balls Flapper Invite– For a more relaxed and fun wedding, these 1920’s flapper themed invites would be perfect. The invites feature a stockcard white background with a Flapper girl image, and custom fonts. You can choose from 9 ink colors available and over 14 fonts. The Odd Balls Flapper Invite is available at Card Supply and the prices start at $90.60 for 20 invites.

Bejeweled Eco Letterpress Invites- These invites are beautiful and feature a beaded design for a vintage look but modern colors to tie in the present day feel. They’re printed on 1-ply cotton ivory letterpress paper and feature customizable ink colors and font choices. The invites are available at Bella Figura and prices are around $720.00 for 100 invites.

Roaring Twenties Invites- These invites are great for a fun and laid back wedding that still wants to incorporate the 1920’s feeling. The invites are printed on cardstock paper with flat ink and coordinating envelopes (with your mailing address printed on) are included. The Roaring Twenties Invites are available through My Personal Artist for $3.90 each.

Pochoir Letterpress Invites- The Pochoir invites feature a 1920’s French stencil inspired design (in your color choice and ink choice) and also features rounded corners and cotton 1-ply eco paper. The Pochoir Letterpress Invites are designed by Amy Graham Stigler and are available at Bella Figura for $580.00 for 100 invites.

Beaded Lotus Invites– The Beaded Lotus invites are definitely high end but are gorgeous and will look great for your wedding. These invites feature a lilac shimmer and folio invitation and printed on beautiful ivory paper enclosed with a linen bead string enclosure. The Beaded Lotus Invitations are available at Carciofi Invitations for $40.00 each.

Telegram Postcard Invite- For a truly unique wedding invite, the Telegraph Postcard Invite is perfect. The invite is made on brown cardstock paper to look like an old postcard from the 1920’s. The invites are completely customizable and are made by Greenwich Letterpress. The cost ranges on the details that you choose.

Art Deco Wedding Invites- Art deco is a staple in any 1920’s wedding because it truly pulls the 1920’s vintage look together. These art deco invite set includes the invites, envelopes, reception card, RSVP card, and directions card. The invites are available through Wunderlich Designs and are $5.95 each.
