Tundra Lodge Located in Green Bay, Wisconsin

Looking for something for a get-a-way for yourself or for your family. Tundra Lodge located right off of Oneida Street in Green Bay, Wisconsin would be an excellent choice. When you first turn into their driveway, you have a good 1/4 mile before you get to the Rustic Lodge with stone edging, you park in the loop at the top of the driveway which is convenient for the handicapped. Once inside, off to the right is a large registration area, where you register, get your key and directions and receive your daily wrist band for the water park.

Across from the registration desk is a huge lounge, and it is breath taking. It is decorated like the inside of a lodge, animal trophy’s hanging around this massive room. There also is a full size(stuffed) bear standing on hind legs (That is the closest I ever want to get to an animal that large). There is a stone fireplace with well cushioned furniture, placed near the fireplace(I enjoyed sitting around the fireplace chatting and we even threw in a few songs for good measure). It is sectioned off with plants, there are area’s for playing games such as checkers and chess, and other areas further away for more quiet time, and an area where you can use there business computer section. Internet access is also available in each room.

Our room was very spacious, had great lighting, and was decorated throughout as though you were in a cabin. Everything was very clean and well kept up.

We had a sleeping area, with 2 queen size beds with extremely soft comforters and blankets, comfortable mattress and pillows, bedside table with a lamp, telephone and clock radio, a dresser with a large mirror and wall lights, and a TV, microwave, coffee maker(with coffee, sugar, creamers, Tundra Lodge coffee cups, and a refrigerator.

The bathroom was small with bathtub and shower, towels, wash clothes, and floor mats to put down when taking a shower or bath(samples of shampoo, conditioner and soap).

There was a vanity room across from the bathroom, with towels and wash clothes, a large mirror and over head lighting.

There was a short divider to divide the sitting area from the sleeping area. With a large wood entertainment center, desk, floor lamp, coffee table, a sleeper couch, and an air conditioner.

There is a game room for young and old, a fitness center with various equipment to use, restaurant, bar and gift shop. The prices in the restaurant, bar and gift shop were a bit pricey.

The Water Park is closed in with large glass windows, and you need your arm band to get into this area. There is a hot tub, lazy river, 2 water slides, and a lodge tree house that the kids and adults can go through, with a huge bucket that fills with water, and warns you right before it is going to tip. The kids absolutely love it. There also is a wading area with water spouting up through different holes.

I myself enjoyed the lazy river, just drifting along slowly and relaxing. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful, it was just great to sit and chat with my friend and relax while the heat took care of the aches and pains.

You can select room service, eat in there restaurant or you can select from many of the close by restaurants to have your food delivered. We chose delivery, rather than eat in the expensive restaurant.

Tundra Lodge is located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Near the Packer Hall of Fame. There are many restaurants, and shopping centers near by. You have the convenience of a wonderful relaxing vacation, or trying out the hot spots to eat, sight see or go shopping to pick up a few items for yourself or for gifts while in Green Bay.

Our stay was in October, so our rates were much cheaper than seasonal rates would be (we paid $119.00 per night.)

All of there rooms are NON Smoking.

I highly recommend Tundra Lodge and Water Park for a nice vacation. Service throughout the lodge and at the reception desk was excellent.
