Toms River Fest Tickets on Sale Now for Aug 2 Carrie Underwood & Aug 3rd Daughtry

Toms River Fest will be one of the hottest spots this summer for concert goers. Starting August 2 you will have Chris Daughtry performing along with Avril Lavigne, Live, and Collective Soul. Then on August 3 you will have Carrie Underwood performing with Lifehouse, Push Play, and The Lost Trailers. These are going to be two of the hottest concerts that I’m sure will sell out fast. So many people love some great entertainment to enjoy in the hot summer sun just to kick back and relax.

The Toms River fest concert will be held on the campus of the Toms River High school. I found this info out from one of my hair customers that took her daughter to one of the previous concerts held at Toms River Fest years ago. Her daughter now is a huge Daughtry and Avril Lavigne fan so she told me the tickets will go on sale May 10, which was two days ago get a hold of one now before they sell out. The tickets according to my customer will range from $35 for general admission, around $40-50 for bleacher seats and $75 for up close floor seating. For all people who are going to this show there will also be rides, games, fireworks, and places to get food, but I highly suggest maybe packing your own little cooler of food/drinks, unless you want to stand in line for hours just to buy a soda. Back when my customer went with her daughter $2 from each ticket sold was actually donated towards the school district, which to me is a wonderful idea to benefit the school better in many ways. So this summer Toms River Fest will be doing the same thing. I’m sure they will make a abundance of money, because of the hot talent performing this year. Here is a little bit of information about some of the people/bands performing at this event:

Carrie Underwood- Former American Idol winner now climbing the Country music charts, selling millions of albums, and just recently got inducted as the newest member of Grand Ole Opry inducted by Garth Brooks.

Lifehouse- A very popular alternative pop/rock band from California that has many famous hits like ‘Hanging by a moment”, ‘You and me’, and another great song hitting the pop charts “Whatever it takes”

Push Play- Long Island boys, which are becoming the hottest up coming band this year after releasing their Deserted album back in 2007. This band is making it strong, especially with the teens.

Daughtry- Need I said more?

Avril Lavigne- A Canadian pop/rock gal who has sold over 30 million albums worldwide. Avril had many top songs like ‘Complicated’, ‘I’m with you”, and one of the most popular ones right now is “Girlfriend. Avril Lavigne will also be launching her first clothing line in July. The clothing line will actually be called “Abbey Dawn”, which her father use to call her as a nickname when she was a tot till teenager.
