Paul Mitchell Freeze & Shine Hair Spray Great for Outdoors in the Wind

Paul Mitchell Freeze & Shine spray worked wonders for my daughter. Who was on the Cheer leading, Pom Pon Squad, Track and Field and Marching Band throughout High School.

She has such thick and heavy hair that nothing would hold long, until we were introduced to Paul Mitchell Freeze & Shine Hair Spray.

Here first year of high school she had a perm (shoulder length hair) well the day after she got that perm she decided to take a pick and fluff up her hair, well it was fluffy. Our extra hold White Rain hair spray was not keeping her hair controllable. She had a performance that evening I called my sister-in-law (who is a hair stylist) and told her our situation. She said come to the shop that she had just the product for us. She showed us the Paul Mitchell Freeze & Shine Spray and said this holds just about anything. I paid for the Freeze & Shine and also was delighted that it was a pump spray bottle (non-aerosol) which was great for us and the environment (the smell of other hair sprays just lingers for hours).

Back at home we styled her hair and then tried out the Paul Mitchell Freeze & Shine hair spray. I sprayed her hair, it left her hair looking natural with a shine, and had a light fragrance to it. I had her shake her hair to see if it would hold. I decided to spray it once again as it wasn’t holding enough for a windy evening. I had her go outside and test it out in the wind. Her hair still looked good. What a relief, her hair would look nice throughout the night.

I had an small 3 ounce hairspray bottle that poured some of the Freeze & Shine Hair Spray in it and gave it to my daughter to carry in her purse in case of touch ups.

We kept Freeze & Shine in the house while she was in high school, she used it for prom, concerts, dances, sports, weddings, for work, and any all day occasions. My son would use it on his hair for a dance and I still have a bottle at home for myself for those all day occasions. I don’t have to use as much spray, as I have very fine hair.

We did find out as her hair grew longer that it was better to wash the spray out then comb through it. It is very sticky if you get it on your hands or skin, dries clear on your hair but, give it a minute or so to dry. If you get it in your eyes it does sting, so make sure you flush your eyes with plenty of water as it says on the bottle.
Your hair will looknatural and have a shiny, but it will be stiff to the touch.

Hair sprays: We have tried:

White Rain Extra Hold
Suave Extra Hold
Rave Extra Hold
Aussie extra hold(held for everyday occasions, but not for her activities)
Finesse extra hold
Herbal Essence extra hold(excellent for the hair, but didn’t hold heavy hair)
Alberto V-05(held for awhile)
and many other off the shelf hair sprays for my daughters hair. Paul Mitchell Freeze & Shine Spray is the only hairspray that held her hair and did not give her hair that wet look.

Cost $14.00 to $16.00 (16.9 oz pump spray bottle)
