Natural Remedies: Emotional Fatigue Syndrome

People who experience Emotional Fatigue Syndrome are quick to explain the dramatic effects this form of fatigue has had on their body. There are medications for E.F.S., however most of these medicines are 100% all-fake. They contain synthetic ingredients that are not cohesive to a truly healthy body. This is why millions of people have chose to go towards a more natural form of treatment. And do you blame them? With all of the adverse effects artificial chemicals can have on your body, you are taking more of a risk ingesting synthetic medications than natural medicines.

I know many people just think that they’re fatigue is just a lack of sleep, or an over abundance of stress at work. And though these are some of the factors of fatigue, there are usually many more instances that cause E.F.S. Considering this, how is a person to know if they have Emotional Fatigue Syndrome? Well, some of the symptoms are similar to normal fatigue; however, there are some extra ones that are slightly more severe than just the stress from work or family. Some of the major symptoms include both mental and physical fatigue, panic attacks, muscle spasms, constant worry, sensitivity to noise and an overall sense of hopelessness. If you are experiencing any one of these symptoms than you may be suffering from Emotional Fatigue Syndrome, and you should see a doctor immediately.

Now that we know the symptoms, lets dig a little deeper and find out what actually causes a person to undergo such hardships. If you are to look at the basis of many illnesses, than you will be shocked to find out that the core of your sickness is most likely due to your stress level. Did you know that emotional stress actually affects the functionality of your organs? I have always heard my mother tell me this, but I never thought it was true, until I was in science class one day, and BAM, there it was in ink. So what exactly does this mean for your body? Well, since your organs functionality is not at its prime, your body begins to release toxins into your system, which also can cause malnourishment. The main symptoms for this type of stress also include nutritional deficiencies, constipation and a negative outlook on life and people.

So, what do you do? When you are in this type of situation things can seem hopeless. This is because you are dealing with more than just a physical symptom, you are dealing with emotions. And as all of us know, there are no cure’s for emotional damage. However, there are several natural supplements for Emotional Fatigue Syndrome, all of which will aid you in your fight to regain your life. There are also several things that you can do in order to realistically get your emotions and stress levels back to the way they’re supposed to be.

  1. Make sure that you avoid all types of refined foods, sugar, caffeine, alcohol saturated fats, dairy products and gluten-containing grains. You will need to completely replace these type of dietary foods with fresh vegetables, protein, essential fatty acids (such as nuts, seeds, and cold-water fish), whole grains and legumes.
  2. Begin a supplementation routine. The following supplements are amazing in fighting Emotional Fatigue Syndrome, as well as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome:
    1. NADH: 5-20mg per day. This is a natural occurring chemical, which is involved in your body’s energy production.
    2. Magnesium: 300 – 1,000mg per day. This has been shown to fight fatigue. However, make sure that you monitor your use and body’s reaction. Magnesium has been known to cause diarrhea if too much is taken. Thus, if this symptom happens to you than simply reduce your intake.
    3. Vitamin C: 250 – 500mg two times per day. This, very well known supplement, is known to significantly improve your energy levels, as well as improving your immune system. However, some physicians suggest taking a higher dosage than the above. To determine your particular dosage, see your doctor.
    4. B-Complex: 50 – 100mg per day or 2ml by injection one to two times per week. This supplement combined with B6 (100mg per day) and B5 (100 – 250mg per day) is known to significantly reduce stress.
