How to Display Your Vintage Rolling Pin Collection

Displaying any vintage collection is part of the fun of collecting it! If you have a love of all things vintage, including Vintage Rolling Pins, you have to start finding clever ways to display them so your better half doesn’t go crazy!

The whole point of these ideas is to affordably display your Vintage Rolling Pin collection. So don’t worry that you will be spending a lot of money!

Hang the Vintage Rolling Pin on the Wall:

One of my favorite ways to display my collection of Vintage Rolling Pins is to hang them on the wall. I find that using simple curtain rod hardware is the easiest way. You should buy the wooden curtain hardware, the kind that is meant to hand wood curtain rods. I find these all the time in Wal Mart for less than $5 a pop.

You can use you sand paper or small hand sander to widen the half circle when needed.

Be sure to paint the bracket out to match each other if you do sand them, they should also match your kitchen.

You can also use those bicycle hooks that are coated in rubber to simply and easily hang the Vintage Rolling Pins. The rubber protects your Vintage Rolling Pins from any damage and makes for a great industrial look in you home.

Now, you can also hang a row of simple hooks along your retro kitchen or dining room wall for this next simple way to display your Vintage Rolling Pin collection. Tie a great piece of leather rope or twin around the handle. I like to make it loop by tying one end of the twine or leather rope into the knot. Now, use that simple loop to hang the Vintage Rolling Pin on the hook. This is a great way to hang your Vintage Rolling Pins in an unusual way. They will be vertical on your retro kitchen wall, which most people do not expect.

Lay the Vintage Rolling Pins out for Display

If you have a glass top coffee table, the kind with storage area inside, then try laying all of the Vintage Rolling Pin collection out in there. If you have a large collection you could line them up. If not, just lay them willy nilly so they look causal. You guest will definitely want to pick them up. They will also be a great conversation starter at you next dinner party.

Try installing those great floating shelves in your kitchen, the kind with the lip on the edge of them. All you have to do is lay your Vintage Rolling Pin out on the simple shelf. You could make a vertical wall of these simple and affordable shelves to create a large and cohesive look. Hang the shelves about five inches apart working your way up vertically. This still allows access to the Vintage Rolling Pins, but keep them on display in a great looking way!

Stand The Vintage Rolling Pins Up

Ok, so who said utensil holders are just for spoons and spatulas. These utensil holders in any shape are perfect for a vertical display of your Vintage Rolling Pin collection. I live those clay pot utensil holders for this simple display project because it allows you to see all of the Vintage Rolling Pins at once.

You could also use any large stone ware or cast iron pot in place of the utensil holder. Just be sure whatever container you decide to use will stand up to the weight of all of your Vintage Rolling Pins in the collection.
