Since making a baby begins with a sperm and an egg, we will begin with the sexual positions that allow these two elements to meet. If you want a boy, old wives tales say you should try rear-entry position or sex standing up. Also, if the man climaxes before the woman, wives tales say that you will definitely have a boy. However, if you want a girl try the missionary position or have sex with the woman on top. If the woman initiates the sex or climaxes first, you are supposed to have a girl.

Choosing Baby Gender With Food
If you are planning on having a baby, it is time to start thinking about the food you eat and how it relates to gender. Eating certain foods should start a couple months before you conceive to make the wives tales work. If you want a boy, the woman is supposed to eat salty foods and red meat. Dads should drink lots of cola drinks. However, if you want a girl, the mom should give in to her sweet tooth cravings. Also, both the man and woman are supposed to eat a lot of fish and vegetables.

In baby making, timing can be one of the most important issues. Wives tales also believe timing is important in choosing a gender. If you want a boy, you are supposed to have sex at night when there is a quarter moon. Also, conception usually takes place on odd days of the month while the mother’s head is facing north for boys. If you want a girl, you are supposed to have sex in the afternoon and on even days of the month. Also, to make sure you have a girl, do a baby dance when there is a full moon. You may feel crazy, but it’s worth a shot.

Of course choosing the gender of your baby isn’t as easy as what you eat and what sexual positions you use. However, every little bit helps if you have a preference of what gender your baby will be.
