Where to Buy Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and Other Florida Attraction Tickets Online and Helpful Disney Guides

 

As a child, I’ve visited several of the Florida amusements parks like Disney and Sea World on a few occasions throughout the years. This year our family decided that during our seasonal unemployment from January to March we would visit Disney and Universal Studios again. Knowing that Disney parks are huge and took days to go through even in the 90’s, I figured we better put a plan together to maximize our 7 day vacation.

The first step was to find tickets prices and online shopping is something that I do a lot of. I didn’t plan to purchase my tickets online, but was curious what the cost and options were. As usual, I started my search on EBay, because in many cases it’s a great place to find good deals on everything from LED Bulbs to Flea medicine for our pets.

Finding Cheap Disney Tickets on EBay

On EBay, I immediately found listings, but they were somewhat confusing because many sellers required certain dates or were selling the remaining days on 10 day passes (not allowed). Also there are scammers selling tickets that are too cheap to be real. (Check their feedback and make sure they are authorized Disney sellers and you are buying NEW tickets.

Other cheap tickets on EBay were timeshare offers. Not a bad deal if you have an extra day to sit and listen to them selling time shares. These tickets promised to save over $600. I spent 3 hours (told me 2 hours) at Blue Green Resorts in Sevierville,TN for a $50 gift card.

There were authorized Disney sellers on EBay. The first one that stood out was Justice645 with better prices on Disney tickets. I contacted this seller and he sent me a link to his website The Orlando Ticket Club Password: SAVE. I believe tickets on the website were cheaper than EBay. All ticket prices included taxes and free shipping. We purchased multi-day tickets for Disney, Sea World and Universal Studios. Our tickets arrived quickly, well organized and worked at all the parks without any hang-ups. Discount Disney Parking and Disney Dining Cards

I wasted a lot of time looking into AAA parking passes and Disney dining cards, etc. Parking at Disney in January is not a problem if you arrive at opening. We parked very close at all the locations without passes. The Disney dining cards and kids eat free cards seemed a bit much unless you planned on feasting every day. Dining cards cost $60 even for annual pass holders and kids eat free cards cost $14 per child. We had 3 kids, but you were required to purchase an adult entrée per child’s meal. Maybe on a longer trip this would have made sense.

Other Discount Disney and Vacation Websites

Along with The Orlando Ticket Club we found other sites that offered good prices on different attractions. Check out some of these sites.

Orlando Fun Tickets – This site offers discount tickets for several other parks and attractions that others didn’t. I have them bookmarked now, because I would like to one day visit Discovery Cove and wouldn’t mind trying out Boggy Creek Airboat Ride.

TicketMomma.com – great discounts and had good prices on 4 day hopper passes at the time.

Originally I looked into hopper passes, but realized that we were going to spend a full day at every park. Base passes were much cheaper overall, and we just barely finished every park from open to close with a tight schedule. Here are some other tools that helped us manage our time.

Undercover Tourist – There are other sites that have Disney information and schedules, but this is one site that has everything you need to start your Disney planning. Including:

Crowd calendar – I don’t know the accuracy of crowd calendars, but we planned our park visits by these suggestions and were very pleased.
