Want the Best Computer for Your Money? Build it Yourself!

Recently i was in the market for a new computer, i did a lot of searching on-line and in stores to compare deals and products.
I was in the market for something flashy, something fast and can be something that will last me and will be a blazing fast FPS machine for all my games.
However I could not find what i wanted for the prices I was willing to pay. So I decided to travel a different avenue, one which many are afraid to venture down, I was going to build my own computer. I had little experience in computer assembly, Ive change a few video cards, installed some ram, and installed a power supply before but never anything like build a computer from scratch. However, in comparing the costs from ordering a gaming machine from an on-line custom computer site on-line to ordering similar components for the computer in order to assemble, it was about $900 cheaper to do it myself. I was uneasy at first, because I was unsure on how to do several technical aspects of the construction, such as setting up the system BIOS and formating the hard drive. But the reward outweighed the costs, it was a simple decision for me to make, i wanted a custom computer and i wanted it cheap.

Ordering from web sites such as TigerDirect.com or Newegg.com (which has everything you need to do it) offers cheap prices and consumer product reviews to help you the, consumer make the right choices. Once you get everything you need it is just a matter of putting the pieces together in the right order, all the products come with instruction manuals to help in the installation and setup of your products and anything else that you may need help with, there is always a bountiful supply of answers and tutorials on the Internet to help with any issues. Simply type an issue or question that you may have into a search engine and go from there, many sites offer avenues which you can ask other people even professionals for free advise, many are more than willing to help you in anyway.

Building your own computer often saves you a lot of money and also ensures that you get exactly what you want in it, nothing you don’t need and everything that you do. This also allows you to pay for it piece by piece if you need to. If you are short on cash, simply ordering a component or two at a time, you can make sure that such a purchase will not stretch your wallet. Moreover, you can take pride in what you are doing, becoming instilled with confidence that you now know how to do such work and now have technical expertise which you can use for the rest of your life.

So if you want the best computer for your money and are willing to invest some time and work, you can save a lot of money and also find satisfaction in the knowledge and technical expertise you gain from building your own computer. So that next time you need a component installed you can do it yourself rather than pay someone else to do it. This knowledge can save you a lot of money down the road, and even make you some extra too, offering to build computers for your buddies or co-workers.
