“Darksiders 2” Best Weapons Glitch and Duplication Glitch

“Darksiders 2” is full of fun, action, scenery and in-depth story arcs, but it is also full of unpatched glitches, tips and tricks to becoming the best “Death” in the game. If you are having a tough time getting those high level weapons, with stats and buff you can never find, or just simply need more money to buy equipment you have your eyes on, then look no further. Here are a couple, fully explained and simple ways to accomplish both tasks.

Vulgrim’s Shop Mystery Item Trick- Normally when you want a sweet new item, you want to head to Vulgrim’s shop, since he tends to have the best equipment. Though, the best of it is hidden away in his “Mystery Item Boxes”. For these you will need “Boatman Coins” to get, but the reward is great. I recommend getting 5 “Boatman Coins” to buy at least one “Ornate Box” from Vulgrim. Once you are in the screen and have bought the box, the item will show on the screen. If you do not want that particular item/weapon, then without exiting the weapon screen (By pressing the Circle button) that just popped up, quit the game. You can quite by either entering the main menu with “Start” or turning off the console. When you come back to the game, head back to Vulgrim. You will still have all of your “Boatman Coins” and a chance to try for another random and possibly better item.

Duplicating Equipment Glitch- This short yet sweet glitch is far easier than the last (not that either of them are the least bit difficult). This trick/glitch is for those of you whom wish to duplicate incredible equipment. To start, you must already have the Item(s) you wish to duplicate in your inventory. Head to the “Tome”, where you can check up on mail and friends. Select any friend or alternate account of yours that wants to help you in this glitch. Select the item you want duplicated, attach it to the message and send it to the friend/alternate account. Do not back out of the screen/message that pops up when you clicked “send”. Instead, you want to simply quit the game. Just enter the main menu through “start” or turn the console off. When you return to the game and head to the “Tome”, the friend/alternate account will have the item you sent them, but you will also have a message from the game itself with the same item attached to it. Just have the original item sent back to you and now you have two of the same item!

These tips and tricks are simple to use and carry out. Whether you want it for your own deathly deeds and stats, or to look like a good friend and hand out some awesome equipment to your friends, these step by step tricks make anyone’s Death, just that more awesome!
