Kirsten Dunst plays the third starring role as Claudia, the immortal child of Louis and Lestat the vampires. The storyline is take from Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles. The story is a mixed blend of romance, immortal life and vampire lure.
A frightening spin on the future of the world with vampirism as a disease is given to us in I am Legend. This film, starring Wil Smith gives a terrifying look at what the world would be like if vampires truly existed and were a disease that could spread to destroy civilization. A terror filled movie with lots of surprises, this one will keep you jumping out of your seat.
If you are interested in how to hunt vampires then you’ll want to take notes during John Carpenter’s Vampires. This action packed thriller follows a vampire hunter on his quest to rid the world of the vampire vermin. The movie is non-stop with lots of adventure.
Finally, no list is complete without Van Helsing. This film takes a look at the early legends of Transylvania and it’s connection to Dracula. The 2004 vampire classic features Hugh Jackman as a religious vampire hunter with a past. He is sent to help the last surviving ruling family of Transylvania and his connection to Vampires and other terrifying legends are revealed.
