For a very sick or very small child, food and activities may not be appropriate to send them; maybe they would like something special to snuggle with, while they recuperate. The Bountiful Basket offers Lavender Therapy Animals. I love lavender and like many people find it very calming and soothing. The animals are a soft, chenille material and have a compartment inside that contains a lavender pouch. What a great idea to sooth a sick child!
