Shoprite from Home in Flemington, NJ

I love Shoprite of Flemington! They have the best prices and greatest selection of any other grocery store I know. To make things even better Shoprite offers Shoprite from Home. Yes, you can order your groceries from home on your computer and schedule a pick up time. At your scheduled pick up time you go to the designated area at Shoprite and park your car. An associate will come out to greet you and you just give them your last name and your groceries will be out in just a minute or two. There is a $10 fee for this service and no gratuity is accepted so its one flat fee.

One thing I love about shopping online for groceries is that it helps me control my spending. With the convenient shopping cart online you can monitor how much you’re spending and cut back or delete things from your cart if you decide you don’t need them. If you don’t see a product listed, simply click on “Can’t Find an Item” and type it in. The shop from home associates are wonderful. They will call you with any out of stock items or any questions they have on your order. In return you can feel free to call them before your scheduled pick up time and add on items you forgot to order.

The Shoprite Price Plus Card, if you have one, works the same way as if you go into the store. You enter the card number online when you register for Shoprite from Home and it automatically calculates all the sale items while you shop. If you don’t have a Price Plus Card, please get one, you don’t know what your missing. You receive the same sales and discounts as anyone that goes into the store to shop. You can also bring your coupons with you and hand them to the associate who takes your name and they will apply them to your order. Everything works the same way as if you go into the store, but alot less stressful and the groceries are loaded in your car for you. How great is that?

I have been using this service since it started which was probably about 4 or 5 years ago. I have no complaints and I think its the greatest thing in the world. Oh, did I mention they have a new feature? Yes, now they have Shoprite From Home Drop Off. When you go to checkout online, instead of selecting “Pickup” just choose “Drop Off”. Shoprite has designated vans that deliver groceries to your home, right to your door. There is an additional fee but I believe its only about $5.00, not positive on that but I’m sure it tells you online. That is great for people who can’t get around or leave the house. My children are older now, but when they were little it was a big relief not to have to bring them in the store with me. I know thats a big issue for most mothers and that’s why this program is so great.

If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend you try it, at least once. I will be surprised if you don’t continue after the first time. This is such a wonderful service for such a minimal fee. It really takes the stress out of grocery shopping for me and I’m sure it would do the same for you. Shopping from home with Shoprite also saves me alot of time to do other things.
