Online Store Review: Strictly Pet Supplies

Strictly Pet Supplies is one of those websites that offers many products in one place, allowing you to choose between companies, price ranges, and to find unique items not always found in pet stores. Many of their products are lower in price than some pet stores, and you can purchase everything you need for a pet set up in one go. Sounds fantastic, right? Unfortunately, despite all the goods, Strictly Pet Supplies is one of the online stores that are best avoided.

Strictly Pet Supplies looks promising with their many products. Strictly Pet Supplies sells pets supplies for many situations. They have dog and cat products, as well as small animal and reptile supplies. Also, if you have a pond with fish, they have what you need for that, too. Finally, you can even purchase fun items for yourself. Each section of Strictly Pet Supplies has all the essentials for healthy and happy pets. They also sell products from different companies, so you can choose only the company you want or compare for the best price. The website has over 20,000 pet products for sale for dogs, cats, fish, birds, reptiles, etc. Strictly Pet Supplies has it all, and at decent prices. You can pay for your items through credit card, or Paypal, making for ease of purchase. Strictly Pet Supplies seems like a great choice for your pets needs.

Why Strictly Pet Supplies should be avoided: From personal experience, Strictly Pet Supplies appear less than professional. We were purchasing everything needed for a lizard tank set up. We could have bought all of the items from a site like Petco or Petsmart, but Strictly Pet Supplies had a lot of choice at cheaper prices.

When the items arrived, one was not in the box. Apparently it was out of stock, but wasn’t mentioned on the website. We were promised a refund on our credit card, but not warned that an item wasn’t available or given an option to choose something else. Most websites mention that an item is temporarily out of stock, but Strictly Pet Supplies did not. Also, one item was the wrong one. We ordered a certain item, and were given something else entirely. With plans to have our lizard soon, and needing its home ready before it got here, we were annoyed with the turn of events.

We searched the order form sent with the package, but found no information on our order number, no address for the company, no phone number, nothing. It was simply a typed list of our order, with the mention that one item was not available, and that was it. On the website, they allow you to contact them through e-mail about returning an item. We e-mailed Strictly Pet Supplies and told them about the mix up with our order, and wondered about getting the right item for an even exchange, or getting a full refund for the item.

Two weeks later, and no reply from Strictly Pet Supplies.

If you have to order pet supplies online instead of in store, you are still better off paying the extra few dollars at reputable websites like Petsmart or Petco, and not dealing with Strictly Pet Supplies. At least, not if you want to get your order when you need it.
