Munchkin Bottle Warmer Review

We purchased a Munchkin Bottle warmer one day while we were out shopping at our local Target. I really wanted to get a bottle warmer especially since all my breast milk was in our deep freezer. A bottle warmer would be great to warm up our frozen or thawed out breast milk. It would save us time. So of course, the Munchkin product lover I am, I purchased the Munchkin bottle warmer.

We got the single Munchkin bottle warmer and not the double bottle warmer. Quit frankly, I don’t recall the double Munchkin bottle warmer at Target at the time we purchased the single Munchkin bottle warmer. Munchkin bottle warmer is suppose to warm bottles and glass food containers such as Earth’s Best, Gerber and Beechnut baby foods. With a majority of Munchkin Baby Products, the Munchkin Deluxe Bottle Warmer is BPA Free.

I don’t think that placing bottle that fits breast pump storage bags are meant for this type of bottle warmer. And I know for sure that placing plastic breast milk storage bags inside this bottle warmer is a no no. The Munchkin single bottle warmer has a blue plastic bottle holder of course. You can place the baby bottles and food containers inside the plastic bottle holder than place the bottle holder inside the bottle warmer.

There is a handle on the bottle holder for easy pick up. The plastic blue bottle holder doesn’t become hot nor warm after the bottle has been warmed. A blue plastic tube with snap cap is located on the left side of the back of the bottle warmer or on the front of the bottle warmer. The plastic tube is blue, elongated and is also detachable from the base of the bottle warmer.

The elongated plastic tube is used to put water in it. Once the right amount of water is collected inside the elongated plastic tube, it is then transferred inside the bottle warmer. The size of the elongated tube fills just the right amount of water inside the bottle warmer. It also produce the right temperature to warm the breast milk and/ or baby food.

The base of the Munchkin bottle warmer is white. The electrically cord is also white. This bottle warmer warms each of my bottles with no problem. All of my bottles are still in tact even after four years of usage. None of my baby bottles or breast milk storage bottles were damaged after using this Munchkin bottle warmer.

The bottle warmer does time each bottle warming section when you press the button for the warming section to begin. A red light will go off which is at the bottom of the base of the bottle warmer.

When the bottle warmer is finished warming the bottle or food container, the red light will turn off and an alarm will go off. Our Munchkin warmer did develop some brown caked on water in the inside after a while of using it. It was very easy to remove. The brown caked on water developed due to the warmer heating up the water to warm the bottles and/or food containers.

The Munchkin bottle warmer did do a rather good job of warming glass contained baby food. I have received the food at warmed temperatures and not burning hot nor cold. Our Munchkin bottle warmer has lasted for four years and its still works. Purchasing a Munchkin bottle warmer is a very great buy. I would recommend this product to any parent.
